The Kingsport Greenbelt
The Kingsport Greenbelt is a system of walking and biking trails that loops around the city of Kingsport, Tennessee. The Greenbelt is approximately 12 miles (19 km) long and consists of three separate sections: the Riverwalk, the Bays Mountain Park Loop, and the Exchange Place Loop. The Riverwalk section follows the South Fork of the Holston River from Netherland Inn Road to Eastman Chemical Company. The Bays Mountain Park Loop goes through Bays Mountain Park, which is home to a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The Kingsport Greenbelt is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery of Kingsport. The Riverwalk section of the Greenbelt follows the South Fork Holston River and is a beautiful place to take a walk or go for a jog. The Bays Mountain Park Loop takes you through the woods and around Bays Mountain, providing some great views of the city.
