Attention Attorneys: The Pope Firm is a fast growing and technologically centric regional firm with offices currently in Knoxville, Johnson City, and Kingsport, with expansion plans across Tennessee and neighboring states. Our firm is actively seeking attorneys who want to be trained how to operate and manage a large volume legal office.

Expect to handle a running caseload of contested/complex bankruptcy matters and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. along with a listing of normal daily activities ie discovery, hearing prep, etc. This is not a 9-5 job with weekends free. Expect to be relocated.

Team members who display an aptitude and who are willing to invest the time and funds will be offered an ownership position in their own office with a full range of procedural and marketing support. Training salary range depends on experience. Expect to be busy and learn a lot both about the law and the business of law.

Successful Applicants must have the drive to make a difference. The Pope Firm bankruptcy attorneys help our clients solve problems ranging from case-specific issues to training/advising on industry-wide topics. We strive to place ourselves as the go-to industry experts in creditor-bankruptcy issues. As such, development of knowledge-base and client/court/colleague relationships are expected.

Requirements:
• Must be admitted to practice law in Tennessee and in good standing with the bar.
• Aptitude with accounting and information technology
• Entrepreneurial mind set
• More than a passing familiarity with robust software programs.
• Presentable, organized, and have an outgoing personality.
